The final round of the Boyndie Drome Open Challenge (BDOC) will take place over the weekend of 10/11 October.
As with previous rounds, the club is running a split day race weekend with the junior classes on the Saturday and seniors on Sunday. This was introduced this year in response to COVID-19 to reduce numbers on site and assist with social distancing.
The format of the days is as follows:
- 9am-12pm : Open practice (each class will get approx 5 practice sessions)
- 12:30pm : Drivers briefing / start of racing
- 4:30/5pm : Prize giving
Bambinos will do 4 time trials of 8mins with all 4 scores added up to give the final winner.
All other classes will do 1 timed qualifying heat of 8mins with fastest lap scoring best points. Thereafter 2 grided heats of 8mins. Points will be used to grid 9min final.
