Grampian Kart Club is looking forward to welcoming back the ASKC Scottish Super Series next month.

We will be kicking off the 3 round series on June 13 with practice on June 12. This event and the series will be run under Motorsport UK permits so you will require a racing licence. If you haven’t yet got a MSUK licence and would like to compete there is still time to contact Gordon Rennie on 01358 511 050 to organise your ARKS test.

The event will consist of 3 lap practice, 3 heats and a final. Race durations to be confirmed but they will be a minimum of 10 laps (or 6 minutes plus a lap) for heats and 15laps (or 10minutes plus a lap). Practice will run on Saturday from 9am to 4pm and the cost for the weekend is £100.

In addition to provide a bit of entertainment for those travelling the club is looking to host a 60min endurance race after practice on the Saturday in the club’s hire karts. The cost will be £80 per team with a limit of 10 teams and a max of 4 drivers per team. A minimum of 3 stops will be required. To register a team please email webmaster@gramiankartclub.com – please do so in advance as this will not run if we don’t get enough teams.

GKC look forward to welcoming the Scottish kart community for round 1 of the Scottish Super Series! Entries will open the 26th May 7pm and must be received by 9th June noon to receive a grid slot in the heats. Late entries will be off the back.
