We have had a few enquiries regards to tyres and having attempted to source stock have hit a dead end. As a result we feel there is no option but to allow the following options:
Mini/Jnr max – Komet K1H, Maxxis new age green or Mojo D2
All snr max classes – Komet K2H, Maxxis new age green or Mojo D5
Wet tyres will be Mojo W5.
We have been able to source some sets of all the above with kart retailers or new/used on eBay.We appreciate this isn’t ideal and something we wanted to avoid. Where possible we’d ask competitors who have a choice of tyres to run what the majority of the field are to keep it fair. Who knows it may well rain!
