MSA Information

MSA Club Championship


The MSA Club Championship is seen as our premier offering of kart racing. Regulated by trained officials of the Motor Sport Association (MSA) who oversee all British motorsport including the British Touring Car Championship.

Who can race?

Round 1 - (Dickie Bent Cup) - 8th April (Round 1 of Scottish Super Series)
Round 2 - (JRD Cup, Kenny Mckay Shield) - 10th June
Round 3 (Northern Cup round 1, Granville Grubb Trophy, Pioneer Mutual Trophy) - 13th August
Round 4 (Mike Phillip Trophy, September Cup) 9th September
Round 5 (GKC Team Trophy) 14th October

Race Format

3 lap Practice
3x 10 lap Heats
1x 12 lap Final

Approx Timetable
8.30-9.15am - Signing On
10am - Drivers Briefing (All drivers must attend)
10.15-11am - Practice
11am-1pm - Heats
1pm-2pm - Lunch
2pm-4pm - Finals
4pm - Prize Giving

Best 4 of 5 rounds to count towards final points tally

Entry costs

Race entry: £60.00
Transponder hire: £10.00
Saturday practice: £20.00
