What is the SSS?

For 2021 the Scottish Super Series will consist of 3 rounds at each of the ASKC registered clubs. These events will be run as Motorsport UK permitted events so you will require a race licence and registration to the ASKC – the later has no additional cost other than being a member of an ASKC registered club.

COVID-19 procedures

As per the Motorsport UK guidance we ask that competitors and their entourage respect social distancing procedures in place. Face coverings or crash helmet must be worn when in the dummy grid and scrutineering/parc ferme areas. Face coverings must be worn in indoor spaces such as race control, toilets and cafe. Please adhere to the one-way system when heading to the grid.

Pre-race scrutineering will be a self-declaration on the day. You will be given a scrutineering card as normal but responsibility will fall on the competitor to ensure their equipment complies with the usual safety requirements. Post-race technical scrutineering will still take place within parc-ferme in line with Motorsport UK’s COVID-19 guidance.

Camping and electricity

As it stands camping is acceptable and will be available from Friday evening. Anyone who wishes to make use of the electric hook-up can do so at a cost of £10 per day. Showers and toilets will be available but please keep them clean.

The cafe will be serving food and refreshments over both days, they can accept cash and card payments.
