What is the SSS?

For 2022 the Scottish Super Series will consist of 4 rounds at each of the ASKC registered clubs. These events will be run as Motorsport UK permitted events so you will require a race licence and registration to the ASKC – the later has no additional cost other than being a member of an ASKC registered club.

Round 1 at Grampian Kart Club


The first round of the Scottish Super Series will take place on the 8th May at Grampian Kart Club with a day of practice available on the 7th May. This event is a Motorsport UK permitted event and you will require an interclub licence to participate.

Meeting Format

Each Round to be run as a race meeting with points for heats and finals. Each event will consist of 3 Heats of 7 minutes plus a lap and a Final of 10 minutes plus a lap for all classes except Bambino who will have 4 timed sessions of 7 minutes. The meeting organisers will have the right to amend the duration of heats and finals (in consultation with the stewards of the meeting) according to any prevailing circumstances/conditions.

Cost

Weekend entry – £120 (incl. Saturday practice)

Camping and electricity

Camping will be available from Friday evening. Anyone who wishes to make use of the electric hook-up can do so at a cost of £10 per day. No pre-booking necessary. Showers and toilets will be available but please keep them clean.

Cafe

The cafe will be serving food and refreshments over both days, they can accept cash and card payments.
