
Round 3 of the Association of Scottish Kart Clubs (ASKC) takes place on the Boyndie Drome circuit on Sunday 10 August.
As well as hosting the penultimate round of the Scottish Super Series, Grampian Kart Club have on offer two feature trophies.
JRD Cup

This award is open to any senior non-gearbox class with 5 drivers or more. The winner of the trophy will be the driver with the most points scored throughout the day.
Mike Philip Trophy

The Mike Philip award was introduced in memory of Mike, a karting Dad of GKC following his sudden death at the 2003 Scottish Championship.
This trophy will be awarded to the driver that displays outstanding driving, sportmanship or other note worthy act. The winner will be decided by vote from the marshals and officials of the day.
Weekday Practice
Anyone looking to practice outside of the race week can do so by purchasing a day membership via the Alpha Timing shop. Electric hook-up can be purchased in 24 hour blocks via Alpha Timing.
Saturday Practice
Controlled Saturday practice is available and will run 9am-4pm.
Camping
Camping is welcome and we anticipate the grounds to be open from Friday evening latest. The clubhouse will be open in the evenings along with the showers and toilet facilities. Awnings and Tents
It’s the owners responsibility to ensure awnings and tents are suitably strapped down. The owner must ensure someone is present throughout that the tent or awning is erected and take responsibility for it should the wind take hold. GKC doesn’t accept any liability or responsibility should someone be injured or property damaged by an awning or tent. It will be down to the owner and those affected to sort.
Transponder Hire
Transponder hire can be made at the weekend. The cost is £10 for the day. Please note ASKC regulations require the transponder to be mounted correct in a cradle – please ensure you have an AMB crable.
Electric Hook-up
Electric hook-up is available in 24 hour blocks and must be paid via Alpha Timing. Dishonest use of the electric hook-up will not be looked upon favourably.
