Glorious sunshine and barely a breath of wind greeted drivers at Boyndie for the fourth round of the BODC Championship.
Two feature trophies were up for grabs: the Bambino Trophy for the youngest racers and the September Cup, awarded to the driver with the highest points in any class with more than five entries. Special guest Gordon Leith, who won the Scottish Championship in 100 National at Boyndie 50 years ago, was in attendance to present the prizes.
Bambino (6-7 years old)
Winner of the Bambino Trophy – Archie Tosh
Archie Tosh stormed to victory, claiming both the class win and the Bambino Trophy. Austin Noble impressed with second, also taking novice honours, with Walter Forrest in third.

Honda Cadets (8-12 years old)
Lucca Biocchi and Archie Tosh – joint winners of the September Cup
Luca Bicocchi dominated, winning all heats and the final to claim a share of the September Cup. Tommy Burgoyne held a secure second, while late drama saw Oscar Forbes snatch third after contact between Alfie Lamb and Richard Henderson. Micro Max runner James Brock completed the grid with a solo class win.

Vinnie Lewis leads in Junior Max
Mya Simpson led early but came under pressure from William Alexander and Vinnie Lewis. Lewis charged through, taking the lead at Pit Corner and holding on for the win. Simpson fought back to secure second, with Alexander close behind in third.

Senior Max (162kg)
Jonathan Edwards led the 162kg class from lights to flag, while Gary Robertson’s early charge secured second ahead of Cameron Hobson.

In 177kg, Peter James Addison led early, but Martin Stephen struck on lap three and never looked back, winning from Addison and Ashton Lee Foubister.

Grant Allardyce claimed a clear win after Andrew Forsyth’s kart failed to start.

Ross McWilliam powered to victory, climbing into the overall top ten. He was joined on the podium by uncle Neil McWilliam and Scott Benton.

Ross Greig leads the pack at the end of lap 1 of the final
Ross Greig made the best start, leading from Keiran Smart, with Duncan Ingram and Alex Hawcutt chasing hard. Smart hit the front on lap 7 and pulled clear for a decisive win. Hawcutt showed blistering pace, setting the fastest lap (33.472s) and battling into third, but couldn’t quite catch Greig before the flag. A thrilling race rounded out the day.
