Grampian Kart Club, in partnership with our amazing trackside sponsors, is proud to present a special one-off event: the ‘GP’ Plate on Sunday, July 13, 2025 with custom awards for the top 3. This one’s all about giving back to the karting community!

We’ve got a full weekend of karting and fun planned – and here’s the best part:
- FREE ENTRY for GKC members all weekend
- 50% OFF for non-members – just £10 for Saturday practice and £25 for race entry on Sunday (non-member fee included in quoted price)
- Electric hook-up remains £10 per 24 hours and transponder hire £10
Weekend Schedule
Saturday, July 12 – Practice & Social
- Practice from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Rotating class-based sessions with a midday lunch break
Saturday Evening – Social Fun
Staying over? Join us for a chilled Saturday evening with:
- Games
- A possible movie night with a projected screening (weather permitting)
- A chance to unwind and enjoy the community vibe in the clubhouse
Sunday, July 13 – Race Day Format
This open event will follow Boyndie Drome Open Challenge (BDOC) rules and is open to all classes.
Please note: This is not part of the BDOC championship – no points will be counted.
Race Day Format:
- 3-lap Practice
- 2 x 6-minute + 1 lap Heats (random grids)
- 1 x 6-minute + 1 lap Pre-Final (grid by heat points)
- 1 x 8-minute + 1 lap Final (grid by Pre-Final result)
Bespoke Custom Awards awarded to the Top 3 in Each Class based on final finishing position
