This weekend’s Scottish Super Series round is set to be action packed with an entry of 90+ competitors travelling to compete at Boyndie Drome. Spectating is free and the cafe is open – pop along and enjoy some competitive motorsport. Maybe even witness the next Scottish F1 driver!

Paddock Area

Please note that the paddock area is reserved strictly for competitor parking only. One vehicle per competitor – i.e. van / car & trailer. If you have entourage or mechanics arriving independently then please advise them to park in the designated parking areas. This will be either by the gate on entry or the hard standing around the far end of the paddock behind the clubhouse & workshop. Be considerate of other competitors – no one wants to be pushing a kart trolley any further than required. Even more frustrating when a Fiesta is parked in a prime spot within the paddock.

Goes without saying – don’t obstruct access roads!

Saturday Practice

Saturday practice will run as sessions running from 9:30am to 4pm. The circuit will close 4pm until Sunday’s 3 lap practice. Due to numbers in some classes we may elect to split the classes – information will be provided on the day along with the running order.

Electric Hook-up

Electric hook-up is avaialble on a first come, first served basis. Splitting will be limited to two per point to avoid any outages. Please use it courteously. If staying on site we ask that you utilise your gas for heating, hot water, cooking etc. If people abuse the hook-up points it’s highly likely they will trip the circuit – the infrastructure was put in place to provide basic amenities. Electric car charging is prohibited – if caught you will be asked to leave. Full T&Cs should you wish to use the electric points can be found on the electric posts and our website.

11pm Curfew

It’s great to see people socialising in the evenings but please be considerate and respectful of others. Generators and music to be off by 11pm. Please be considerate of noise to allow the young and big kids to get their kip ahead of race day.

It was with great disappointment the club became aware of minors ‘exploring’ our neighbouring drift club and businesses grounds last year. Please be respectful of the surroundings and be aware that CCTV is in operation across our neighbouring properties (including ours).

Waste / Rubbish

Where possible please remove waste – specifically glass, cans, tyres and cardboard shouldn’t be placed in any bins on site or in the skip. These should be recycled appropriately.

Last but not least…

Enjoy it and have fun! Sadly there is only ever one winner in each class but sometimes it’s just not your day. We do our utmost to bring a crowd to these events – make sure they see the best side of the sport! We all want to see more karts on the grids.
